Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Microsoft 365 and Office 365?
They are the same. In 2020 Microsoft renamed Office 365 → Microsoft 365 (to stress it is more than just Office). For our clients there was no migration — only the name changed.
Does the data stay in the EU?
Yes. For business customers Microsoft 365 data is stored in European data centres (usually Ireland + Netherlands). GDPR compliant.
Can I work offline?
Yes. Business Standard and above include desktop versions — Word, Excel and Outlook work without internet too. Everything syncs when the connection returns.
Can you move e-mail from Yandex/Mail.ru?
Yes, we do it regularly — with migration wizards or IMAP tools. The full mail history comes across.
How long does the rollout take?
For a company of 5–20 employees — one week including onboarding. For larger ones (100+) — up to a month, in stages, so work is not disrupted.
