Why the cloud

The cloud isn't 'storing your computer somewhere far away' — it's a change of business model. CAPEX (capital spent on servers) becomes OPEX (a monthly fee for what you use). It scales up and down with real need. Location stops mattering — it works the same from Riga or Singapore.

Frequently asked questions

Is the cloud safer than a local server?

Correctly configured — yes. Microsoft, AWS and Google invest billions in security: data centres with 24/7 physical guards, biometric access, hardware-level encryption. But 'correctly configured' is critical — don't go alone.

Does the data stay in Latvia?

Your choice. If required — yes (Tet, LMT, DEAC data centres). If the requirement is 'EU' — Azure/AWS European regions. Globally — anywhere.

What does it cost?

You pay for what you use. A small business setup starts from a modest monthly fee, a medium one is quoted individually, large ones per project. We calculate before we start.

What if the cloud provider goes bankrupt?

A fair question. We always build an exit strategy — backups stored independently, applications portable between providers. If AWS suddenly vanished, we would move you to Azure within 2–4 weeks.

Do we need our own cloud specialist?

Not if you stay with us. Cloud management is a specific skill — we maintain it, you use what lives there.
